Hyperpigmentation is the term used to describe areas on uneven pigmentation in skin. Hyperpigmentation appears as darkened patches or spots on the skin that make
skin look uneven. The spots are known as age spots or sun spots and hyperpigmentation is also at the heart of skin conditions such as melasma and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. By nature, people with dark skin are normally more affected by hyperpigmentation marks than those with a lighter skin tone as skin pigmentation is
stronger in dark skin.

Laser light treatment is appropriate for treating age spots, sun damage, and freckles on the face, neck, chest, arms, hands, legs, and feet.
What kind of results can I expect?

How many treatments will I need?
Typically, only a few treatments are needed however depending on the condition, several treatments may be required to achieve desired results.
What can I expect following the treatment?
Most people experience a mild, sun-burn like sensation, possibly accompanied by some minor swelling, immediately following the treatment. Avoid hot baths or showers (lukewarm is fine), hot tubs and saunas, and vigorous forms of exercise that may cause excessive heat or sweating.
